Dr. Hollman is a child psychologist who specializes in psychotherapy for anxiety and depression in children and adolescents. As a child and adolescent psychologist, serves clients ages 4-18, and their families.
As a child psychologist interested in helping the whole person, Dr. Hollman encourages the development of each child’s emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual life.
Experience: Dr. Hollman obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from Biola University and has received advanced training in parenting education and cognitive behavioral therapy. She has worked in a variety of residential care and outpatient specialty clinics.
Prior to joining Riverside, Dr. Hollman served as a child psychologist at the Ross Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders in Washington, DC. She has also served as a child psychologist for two Leesburg-area residential facilities.
Treatment Approach: Dr. Hollman integrates play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help younger children and their families identify and meet goals. She uses CBT and supportive counseling strategies to help adolescents find greater satisfaction in relationships and academic performance. Specialty Areas: Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents Struggling with Depression and Anxiety, Individual Counseling for Children & Adolescents Experiencing Difficulties Related to school performance, peer relationships, family conflict, parental separation and/or divorce, and adjustment to other major life changes.
